Appointment Center Representative


Job Summary

Performs a variety of administrative tasks to support the Marketing and Sales Departments of the company. Primary telephone contact for all customer interactions including answering calls, setting sales and service appointments, and following up with customers on a variety of issues. Mail customer information. Keeps customer records current and updated. Supports the management and mission of the company.


Essential Job Functions: 

  • - Represents the company through telephone customer contact. Answers calls, sets sales appointments, sets Annual Maintenances and customer warranty service appointments, and follows up with customers on a variety of issues/occasions
  • - Keeps customer records and files current and updated, as well as sends customer information about the company and/or services performed
  • - Specifically duties related to Service includes
    • * Completes service dispos
    • * Enters in services solds
    • * Schedules 5 outbound calls a day (minimum 25 a week)
  • - Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime if needed

Marginal Job Functions

  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management


Necessary Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs) and Talents:

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Skill in operating personal computer and programs such as spreadsheets, database, and word processing software
  • Skill in verbal and written communication
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks

Education and Experience:

  • - High school Diploma, some college preferred;
  • - One (1) year of experience in customer service, call center, or related position; or
  • - A combination of education and experience that illustrates a proven track record service field


Physical Requirements:

  • - Detect/ recognize information in written materials and on the computer
  • - Communication accurately on the telephone and in person with others
  • - Sit for long periods of time
  • - Accurately operate a computer and calculator
